William Bauer wrote a sympathy message

“I met Bill at our mutual place of employment (Philco-Ford. later Ford Aerospace) in 1970 in Willow Grove, PA. We both played for the Philco-Ford Philadelphia Bridge League team. We also played innumerable sessions of lunch time bridge in Bill's office. In the later 70's we started playing as partners on numerous occasions up until 8 days before Bill's death. We played in on-line bridge tournaments. I will always remember Bill as fine player and competitor. by Bill Bauer”
