He was predeceased by: his former wife Louise H. Samble; his parents, Joseph Samble and Laura Samble; his siblings, Gordon, Vernon Samble, Doris Patterson and Carolyn O'Donnell; and his daughter Nancy Benton.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie R. Samble; his children, Karen Samble, Susan Wooden (Bob) and William E. Samble, Jr. (Kathleen); and his stepsons, Ron Williamson (Jacqueline), Don Williamson and John Williamson (Lori). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
