Smith; his children-in-law, Darnell Smith and Merriann Carswell; his grandchildren, Ebonye Allen, Mone't Forney, Darnell Smith, Jordyn Smith, Ariyanne Austin, Willicia Carswell, Willandria Carswell and Monique Carswell; his great grandchildren, Ethan Allen, Autumn Forney and Zoe Lawe; his siblings, Eddie Carswell, Dawson Jones and Lillie Bell Nesbitt; his sisters-in-law, Rosa Lee Nicholson of Avon Park and Annie Margaret Brown of Orange; and his wife Bernice Carswell.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the T. S. Warden Funeral Home (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery (4535 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206).
