He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Alice Forbes; his parents, Bertha McLellan and Ambrose McLellan; and his brother-in-law Richard Hamlin. He is survived by: his children, Terry McLellan (Troy Ballard), Wayne Jr. (Barbara), Jaime and Anthony (Karen); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Foster, James, Andrew and Allyson; and his son Ferdinand Eimler.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oceanway Church (12240 Sago Ave W, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
