He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Mattie Leas Stevenson (Moore). He is survived by: his children, Daniel (Yvonne Monroe) of Chapel Hill, NC, Carol Trudel (Barry) of Jacksonville, FL and Robin Coady (Shawn) of Naples, FL; and his granddaughters, Lee Ann Sessions (Jeremy), Amy Wells, Tara Coady and Colleen Coady. He is also survived by six great- grandchildren.
