With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Marie Miller (Jacksonville, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Virginia Marie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard M. Miller; her parents, Leo Hill and Edna Peebles; and her sisters, Mary Ann Hill Taylor and Barbara Jean Hill Powell.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Loyde Hill; and her children, Brian Dean Rhoades, Scott LeRoy Rhoades, Karen Rene Tierney (Tim), Deanna Lynn Parkin (Glade), Kelly Marie Holbrooks (Johnny) and Kathryn Lynette Lyell (Forrest). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Fraser Funeral Home (8168 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32221). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205).
