She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Elizabeth (Hardesty) and Gustave B. Ludwig, Sr.; and her sons, Joseph Leonard Batten and Emmett Virgil "Chip" Batten, Jr.. She is survived by: her son David Batten; her daughter-in-law Arlene Batten; her grandchildren, Eddy Batten (Shannon) and Kelly Bennett; her great grandchildren, Hollie, Taylor, Bishop Bennett, Amber, Nicholas, Henry and Elizabeth Batten; and her great great grandchildren, Nehemiah, Atlas, Lucas and Brooklyn.
