It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Arline Sykes of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas, Sr. Arline; her brothers, Thomas, Jr., John, Warren, David, Doyle, Edgar and James; and her son Leonard Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Bennie Robert, Stephanie Cobb (Jeffrey), Kimberly Dixon and Jessica Sykes; and her grandchildren, Rashard (Eureka), Renee Austin (Tyler), Renaldo Walker, Jeremiah Cabral and Jackson Cabral. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Vera Arline Sykes 87, of Jacksonville, Florida died peacefully in her sleep on May 1, 2022, at Ortega Gardens Alzheimer's.
