We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 66, Vanessa Darlene Holliday Irven of Jacksonville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Holliday and Bernice Holliday; her husband Willie James Irven, Jr.; and her siblings, Samuella Carter Merrill, Hattie Holliday Phelps, Michael Holliday (Mack) and Bernard Carter (Beverly).
She is survived by: her children, Vanna Grace Walton, Damarius Nicole Irven and Charles James Hooper; her grandchildren, Michael Holliday, Jordan Jenkins and Christian Irven; and her brothers, Harry Holliday (Estrella), Louis Holliday (Mary), Harold Holliday (Robin) and Shireen Holliday Lowe (Pastor George). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carthage Chapel (929 W Beaver St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church (1100 Logan St, Jacksonville, FL 32204). A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
