He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lankford and Julia Lankford; his wife Mary; his daughter Kathleen Fischer; his sister Epsie Erickson; and his son-in-law Charles Fischer.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Currell, Peggy Lankford of Jacksonville, Margie Schmitt (Dennis) and Jim Lankford (Maria) of Palm Harbor, FL; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Mark (Jenny), James Currell, Kelli Cooney (James), Austin Fischer (Alicia), Joe and John Lankford; his great grandchild Hudson Fischer; and his brother Charles Lankford of Nederland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
