He was predeceased by: his parents, Liston Wildes and Claudia Wildes; and his siblings, Chester, Lester, Ward, Franklin, Bryant, Buster and Verna Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Wildes; his children, Wanda Shiver (Jerry), Rhonda Jewell (Randy), Tommy Wildes (Christy), Tracy Wildes (Susan) and Rebekah Barnes (Larry); his grandchildren, Chris, Kristi, Kimberly, Whitney, Sara, Leah, Tyler, Courtney, Hunter, Haley, Taylor, Kayla, Lauren and Brooke; and his sister Oweda Taylor. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hardage - Giddens Greenlawn Funeral Home (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
