He is survived by: his wife Susan; his brother Frank McCaffery; his children, Kimberly Anderson (Todd), Karen Leigh and Thomas (Christine); his grandchildren, Brendan, Thomas, Tory Doolan, Juliet and Nicolas Waits; his great grandchildren, Ayla, Spencer, Hadley and Cal Thomas Doolan; and his close friend Susan Helms (Episcopal Church).
