He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay; his children, Cristy and Greg; his daughter-in-law Mary Catherine; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Michele; and his grandchildren, Greg Jr., Catherine, Joseph and Elizabeth.
The Florida Bar Foundation awarded him its Medal of Honor Award in 2008 for his dedication to legal services for the poor.
