He was predeceased by: his father Leonard "Gene" Hinkle; his stepmother Ella "Mae" Hinkle; his mother Palma Ann Miller; and his stepfather David Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Victoria Wilson; his sisters, Loretta Hasty (David) and Rita Ridings (Calvin); his daughters, Sarah Hinkle (Brian Albritton) and Rebecca Bowman (Josh); his stepson Sam Roberts (Emily); and his grandchildren, Norah Meeks, Margot McCartney, Elliot Albritton, Brynn Bowman, Porter Bowman and Harrison Roberts.
