She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherard C. Sheffield and Shirley P. Sheffield; her son Joseph E. Watson, Jr.; and her siblings, Carl Sheffield, Wilbur Sheffield, Arnold Sheffield and Ida Deal.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Watson Gilbreath of Jacksonville and Teresa Diane Watson of Tarrytown. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (1100 Stockton St, Jacksonville, FL 32204).
