With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Lucas Ward of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Lucas and Muriel Lucas; and her brothers, Jim and Danny. She is survived by: her husband Wilfred Ward; her daughter Kathy Ward-Cameron; her grandchildren, Chelsea Cameron Young (Kris) and Skylar Cameron; and her great grandchildren, Kailan Young and Kaden Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, caregivers, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish may make memorial donations in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, act.alz.org.
