She was predeceased by: her father Deacon Clem Mason; and her siblings, Allene Mason Brooks, James Mason and Clem Mason, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Marty R. Godwin; her granddaughter Ja'Maya Godwin; her siblings, Altamese Thompson, Evelyn Harris (Alfonso), Mellanese Jones (Gilbert), Annie Jordan (James), Gary Mason (May) and Jackey Mason (Sheila); her sister-in-law Laverne Mason; her godchildren, Carlos Long and Erika Albertie; her niece Sherry Mason; and her cousin Otis Mason. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shining Light Church of God (153091 Co Rd 108, Yulee, FL 32097). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at the Brickyard Cemetery.
