He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Byron Roland Gay and Vicki Osteen Gay; his grandson Scotty; his wife Georgia Anne Gay; his children, Scotty R. Gay Jr., Curtis L. Straka-Nuhibian (Brittany), Jessica M. Nuhibian and Taylor A. Nuhibian; his sister Kelly Gay-Donovan; his grandchildren, Gracie, Kenzie, Leland, Tanner, Paisley Rose and Maverick; and his niece Kaylee Donovan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Ferreira Funeral Services - Jacksonville's Westside (1320 Chaffee Rd S, Jacksonville, FL 32221). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Jacksonville National Cemetery (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218).
