It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Anthony Samard of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Scott Anthony farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Scott Anthony is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father George Gene Ferris; and his adoptive father Allen Leland Samard. He is survived by: his mother Linda Houle Samard; his siblings, Stephen Samard (Barbara), Andrew Samard and Tiffany Samard; his nephew Israel Samard; and his close friends, JoAnn Moorman, Brian Edwards and Curtis Head.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whiddon-Shiver Funeral Home (10451 US-84 Ste E, Thomasville, GA 31757). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (10526 US-84, Thomasville, GA 31757).
