She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Avery Hood and Ruby Cleo Howell Hood. She is survived by: her husband Emory Holsenbeck; her sons, Darrell Holsenbeck (Kathy), Scott Holsenbeck and Jason Holsenbeck (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Kristol Hester (Cory), Dale Holsenbeck (Casey) and Adam Holsenbeck; her great grandchildren, Brycen and Blakely Hester; her stepgrandchildren, Katie Padgett, Jennifer Kirkman, Danielle Smith and Dustin Roberts; and her brothers, Ronald Barry (Carolyn) and Walton W. "Walt" Hood. She is also survived by 11 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gardenview Baptist Church (3139 Armsdale Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218). A committal service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Cemetery Committal Service.
