It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Carter (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Dawson and Azalea Dawson. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Carter; her children, Kyle Carter (Carla), Barry Carter (Michele) and Traci Smith (Joe); her sisters, Sybil Riddle and Carole Spires; and her grandchildren, Scott Carter (Loni), Andy Carter, Josh Pippen, Cortney Posey (Ryan), Jarred Carter (Jaye), Taylor Haynes (Chris), Marla Smith and Kayli Carter. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
