He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fredrick V Oren and Annie Chapman Oren; his children, Whitney Anne Oren, Samuel Grady Oren Jr. (Chip) and Courtney Oren Scherer; his grandchildren, Grady Oren, Case Scherer and Riley Scherer; and his wife Margery.

Donations may be made to Vitas Hospice or Community Hospice who provided loving care and support to Grady and his family.
