He was predeceased by: his parents, Isiah Donaldson and Willie Ruth Donaldson; and his siblings, Barbara L. Williams, Ennis C. Donaldson and Isiah Donaldson Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Edwina D. Thomas and Estola Donaldson; his niece Natasha Gatlin (Larry); and his nephews, James E. Thomas and Sam Lee Thomas (Patricia). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and friends.
