He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Wright and Gertha "Gerthie" Watts Wright; his son Anthony Drew Wright; and his siblings, William Eugene Wright, Lonnie Dolphus Wright, Marie W. Willis, Ina W. Stewart and Hazel W. Gore.
He is survived by: his wife Merlie Wright (Porter); his son Reuben Alexander Wright; and his sister Pearl Wright Milligan.
