It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Simmons Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Simmons Sr. and Lillian Simmons; and his brothers, Roscoe Simmons Jr. and Ricky Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Kristal Simmons; his children, Roy Simmons Jr., Randolph Simmons Sr. (Lashanda) and LaTisha Simmons; his sisters, Hortense Lang, Lillian Anderson (Alvin) and Mamie Simmons; and his grandchildren, Roy Simmons III, Raven Simmons, Randolph Simmons Jr., Jamal Simmons and Sahir Washington. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
