With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Daniel Wilkinson (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen J. Wilkinson (Clark) and John D. Wilkinson; and his siblings, Bud Padgett and Joyce McCoy. He is survived by: his sons, Danny Wilkinson of Jacksonville and David Wilkinson (Priscilla) of Worthington Springs; and his brothers, Jerry Padgett Sr. (Linda Faye) of Clay Hill and Shu Shu Wilkinson (Mary Lou) of Clay Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Long Branch Cemetery (5500 Long Branch Cemetery Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32234).
