We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2024, at the age of 89, Robert Mitchell Bacon (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Atlanta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard Bacon and Octavia Ruth Mitchell Bacon; his siblings, Fred Bacon and Nancy Stanley; and his child Beverly Sharpe.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hulsey Bacon of Jacksonville, FL; his children, Vicki Montgomery (Stuart) of Coral Springs, FL and Chris Bacon (Cindy) of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Casey (Dustin Morgan), Cullen (Sydney Montgomery), Christy (Brandon Scott), Carson (Emily Montgomery) and Taylor (Andrew Lackie). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
