He was predeceased by: his wife Marion Gipson; and his son Robert Gipson, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Judy Reynolds; his granddaughter Nicole Weaver; his grandson-in-law Patrick Weaver; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Weaver and Maverick Weaver.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southside Methodist Church (3120 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207).
