Renota left this world on January 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her husband Gary McVay; her daughters, Traci Sinor (Brian Sinor) and Amanda McVay (Kenneth Wydra); and her brothers, Mathew Cason (Mila Cason) and David Cheers (Christine Cheers).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The National Park Foundation in her name.
