He was predeceased by: his parents, William Parsons and Hannah Parsons; and his siblings, Rev. William Parsons, David Parsons and Elsie Chase.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Martin Parsons; his children, Jennifer Parsons Shepherd (Charles Platt), Mark Parsons (Jennifer), Heather Parsons Ormiston (Fred Gerhart) and Paige Parsons Harden (Nat); his grandchildren, Myles Shepherd (Kassie), Arielle Ormiston Slagle (Brad), Emily Ormiston Culpepper (Blake), Taylor Parsons Sallade (Matthew), Alden Parsons, Tycer Harden and Clara Scott Harden; his great grandchildren, Rylan Slagle, Scarlett Slagle, Allie Slagle, Addie Mae Culpepper and Claire Shepherd; and his sisters, Hannah Dean Rist, Dorthy Roberts (Raymond) and Deborah Davidson.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (9 N 6th St, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to First Presbyterian Church, 9 North 6th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.
