He is survived by: his daughter Annette Freeman Tillis; his brother Claude Tillis; his children, Ivy Summery (Tillis) and Reed L. Tillis III (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Blake E. Summey (Alexis), Amy Leigh (Amanda), Reed L. Tillis IV, Buddy Tillis (Chris) and Jessica Lee Tillis.
