It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Yerkes Rogers (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Beville Yerkes and Jonathan Yerkes, Sr.; her husband John Harrell Rogers; her siblings, Jonathan Yerkes Jr. and Jane Yerkes Williams; and her niece Jane Yerkes Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan Yerkes Rogers (Debbie Leapley Rogers), Walter Ford Rogers III (Fran Lee Rogers) and Stephen Beville Rogers (Betty Stefanik Rogers); and her grandchildren, Julia Ruth Rogers, Paige Rebecca Rogers, Robert Yerkes Rogers and Lara Frances Rogers.
In lieu of flowers a memorial may be sent to the Rebecca Yerkes Rogers Endowment Fund at Riverside Presbyterian Church, N.E. Florida Community Hospice, or a charity of choice.
