She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Peyton George and Ruby Mae George (Hart); her spouse Francis Byrd Lowery; and her siblings, Juanita George, John Thomas and Robert Harold George.
She is survived by: her siblings, Max George (Lenora) and Martha George of Paris, Tennessee; her son Michael Francis Lowery of Covington, GA; her grandchildren, Lauren, Chelsea and Zachary; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Grayson and Adeline. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
