He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Kym McClanahan, Ralph McClanahan Jr., Carolyn Rudy (Mike), Fe'ri McClanahan (Chantel), Ruthie Brooks (Cornell), Kijafa James and Faraha McClanahan; his adoptive daughters, Chris Fluitt (Marvin) and Sheree Harvin; his siblings, Isaac McClanahan Jr. (Ruth) and Emily Mack (Francis); his in-laws, Irma Thrower and Jimmy Lee Lester (Lolita); and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittany, Andrea, Mikey, Anitra, Ericka, Porscha, Darrius, Anthony Jr., Antwon, Jordyn, Cheyenne, Fe'ri Jr., De'Jaun, MyNauj, Zipporah, Kamiliah, Serenity, Khori, Mylashia of Heaven, TJ and Qubiliah. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Greater Zion Grove Baptist Church (6317 118th St, Jacksonville, FL 32244). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the same location.
