It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Polly May (Jacksonville, Florida), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Clarence Riggs and Minnie Lee Gregory; her significant other Herman May; and her siblings, Cecil Riggs, Nellie Mayfield and Neta Johnson.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael James May (Lynne) and Mark Edward May (Ginger); her grandchildren, Michelle "Shelley" Edens (Rich), Mary Anna Peterson (Charles), Justin May (Jennifer) and Derrick May (Mandy); and her great grandchildren, Sydney Edens, Gracie Gutierrez, Linnie Edens, Alex Peterson, Ryan Peterson, Ethan Peterson, Trenten May, Kaeli May, Talan May, Everly May, Braeden Helland and Colesen Williams.
