It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Kay Smith of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Brunswick, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Smith; her mother Virginia Dale Griffis; her daughter-in-law Jarah Smith; her grandchildren, Abbie Smith and Ricky Lambert; and her brothers, Wade, Timmy and Ricky.

She is survived by: her father Phillip Arango; her children, Phillip Smith, Jonathan Smiley and Ashley Smith; her siblings, Kellie Hathaway (RJ) and Tommy Griffis (Tina); and her grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Kaelyn, Paetyn and Bailey. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
