She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond A. Johns and Gladys Blair Johns; her husband James Edward Sr. (Eddie) of Washington; her son James Edward Jr. of Washington; and her sisters, Shirley Dean and Kathy Collins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Valbuena (Julian) and Debbie Rankin (Hugh); her grandchildren, Trey Peters, William Peters, Anna Waterman, J. J. Peters and Jessica of Washington; her great grandchildren, William Jr., Tyson, Wyatt, Emma, Damian, Olivia, Beau and Atlas; and her nieces and nephews, Allison Collins, Amie Williamson, Susan Danford, Cheryl Page, Michael Dean and Mitchell Dean.
