Peter passed peacefully in his sleep, succumbing to a sudden heart attack.
Born on April 23, 1982, in Belarus, Peter embarked on a journey to the United States at the age of 6. Despite never attending school in Belarus, he retained fluency in Russian, a testament to his connection to his homeland. His father, Ivan Budnik, was 45 at the time of their migration, an age Peter himself did not have the opportunity to reach.
Peter's life was one of quiet strength and unwavering dedication. Though he lived a solitary existence, he found solace and joy in the presence of his beloved friends and family.
Peter's passions ran deep, particularly in his love for guns and cars. To him, they were more than mere hobbies; they were reflections of his spirited nature and keen mechanical aptitude. Whether tinkering under the hood of a car or honing his skills at the firing range, Peter's dedication and enthusiasm were evident to all who knew him.
A graduate of Terry Parker High School in 2000, Peter excelled in both his studies and his extracurricular pursuits. Yet, it was in the kitchen where he truly shone. Cooking brought him genuine delight, especially when others tasted and enjoyed his culinary creations.
A devoted son to Lubov and Ivan Budnik, Peter was also a cherished brother to his eight siblings: Yuriy, Sergey, John, Paul, Stefan, Larry, Tony, and Lilia. Their bond was unbreakable, forged through shared experiences, laughter, and the trials of life.
Peter will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering loyalty, and infectious laughter. Though his sudden departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, his spirit will endure in their hearts forever.

Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225.
