She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Ake and Hazel Ake; her husband Paul David Shamp Jr.; and her daughter Pamela Reneé. She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy (Patrick) and Paula (David); her grandchildren, Paul (Kim), Phillip (Tiffany), Pamela, Paige (Brian), Christopher, Kayla (Charlie) and Amanda (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Liam, Kinsley, Zoey, Issac and Jovie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home (7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205). A committal service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (4519 N Edgewood Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32219).
