She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Batalis and Betty Batalis. She is survived by: her husband James E. Thompson of New Carlisle, Indiana.; her children, James E. Thompson, Jr. (Kim Thompson), Katrina Kemble of Chicago and Renee Fulkerson (Michael Fulkerson); her grandchildren, Parker Thompson, Emily Thompson, Weston Fulkerson and Elizabeth Fulkerson; her brother James Batalis of South Bend, Indiana; and her pet Maddie. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
