It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Noah Henry Newman Sr. (Jacksonville, Florida), who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roosevelt and Mabel Jackson Newman; his wife Luvenia Quarterman Newman; and his siblings, Theodore, Jr., Clarence, Curtis, Harry, Harold, Claudette, Jean and Jeanette.

He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Sylvia) and Noah, Jr. (Dana); his siblings, Cornelius (Gloria), Paul (Catina), Kenneth (Cile) and Vivian; his grandchildren, Shaakera, Ernest, Dr. Alisa and Noah, III; his friend Larry McMillan (Beverly); and his goddaughter Tierra Green. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
