She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Bright and Julia Mae Hamilton; her husband Willie J. Reed, Jr.; her son Robert Nathaniel Reed; her grandson Aundra Reed, Jr.; and her sister Betty L. Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret King, Karla Reed, Aundra Reed, Mark Reed and Attonnette Reed; her grandchildren, Robert Reed, Jr., Michelle Reed, Nicole Coleman (Michael), Milton Alderman (Heather), D'Angelo Reed (Deanna), Karlotta Dowdy, Alphonso King, Jr. and Jerome Reed; and her great grandchildren, D'Angelo Reed, Jr., Di'yonna Reed, Darreon Reed, Da'Chelle Reed, Karnecia Lester, Daelon Reed, Da'Zahri Reed, O'veon Andu, Oscar, Thomas and James Wilson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
