She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Mitchell and Susie Mitchell of Attapulgus, Georgia.; her former husband Louis James Butts; her husband Deacon James French; her children, Timothy Butts, Reginald Butts, Rachel Butts-McGriff and Marilyn Butts-Miles; her grandchildren, Beverly Petty (Robert), Reginald Stripling, Nikita Stripling, Alton McGriff (Dorothy), Selena Butts, Joshua Miles, Daniel Butts, Tamesha Smith (Paul), Mitchell Miles (A'rel) and Tavon Butts; her daughter-in-law Lavern Butts; and her sisters-in-law, Alma Mitchell and Delores Mitchell. She was also cherished by great grandchildren, great-great-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
