He was predeceased by: his father John Fred Benson; his uncles, Doyce (Walker) and Kenneth Lloyd Walker; and his cousin Jason Daniel Walker. He is survived by: his pet Lucky; his mother Linda Gayle Benson; his sister Kathryn Denise Tauning (Jesper Tauning); his uncle Robert Eugene Walker; his aunts, Patricia Ann Walker, Evelyn Ruth Tyler and Ellen Edgar Walker; and his cousins, Robert Steven Walker (Rockwell Steven Walker), Barbara Diane Walker (Jack Walker Jones), Robert Keith Young, Kevin Scott Young, Jeff Bryant and Lesa Benefield.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to American heart association in honor of John Michael Benson.
