It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Cecilia Fettig of Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert E. Halstead and Charlotte Halstead (Swanson). She is survived by: her children, Theresa Mary (John Sims), Colleen Cecilia, Lawrence James (Donna) and Louise; her grandchildren, Annalisa Sims, Marcella Sims (Brian Rosado), Johnna Sims, Billy Sims of James Fettig, L. J, Lindsey Rossoll and Lucas Rossoll; and also, Xiomara Rosado-Sims, Ayden Fettig, Kayla and Nicholas Jury.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church (9401 Staples Mill Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32244). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at the Camp Nelson National Military Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
In lieu of flowers, Mary requests donations to support a young Catholic student in her parish.
