It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maedene M. Carter of Jacksonville, Florida, born in Vernon, Florida, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Patrick Carter (Katie), Alex Carter (Nancy) and Abby Carter; her grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Michael, Cheryl, Sassity, Alex Jr., Patrick Jr., Sean and Julia; and her siblings, Everette (Norma), Wayne Tutton (Ruth), Waldene and Josephine (Ed).
