She was predeceased by: her parents, James Townsend and Mary Townsend of Jacksonville; and her husband Kenston. She is survived by: her daughter Pamela "Pam" Jean Waldron; her siblings, Jaunita "Nita" Wilson and Raymond Townsend (Joyce); her son James Stanley "Stan" Cox (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Lauren Pilkinton (Shawn), Brandon Waldron (Sierra), Morgann Cox (Seth) and Blakeslee Campbell (John). She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery (4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207).
