Pimentel, MD; her children, Rhea Pimentel MD (Colin MacKenzie MD), Patrick Pimentel (Jennifer Davis) and Jennifer O'Connell (Brendan O'Connell); and her grandchildren, Emersen MacKenzie, Jordin MacKenzie, Donovan Pimentel (Eden Pimentel), Joey Pimentel, Kyler Pimentel and Alli Pimentel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation in her honor.
