She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Reaves and Cora Lee Reaves; her husband Herman Jones; her siblings, Cohen Kaine Reaves, Sammie Reaves, Arie Ann Willingham, Corine Davis, Queen Ester Anderson and Irene Davis; her niece Betty J.; and her nephews, Howard C. Wilcox and Samuel R. Davis.
She is survived by: her son Alton Wayman Royal (Louise) of Tallahassee, FL; her granddaughters, Natalie Yvette Royal and Nadia YaVon Royal of Tallahassee, FL; her stepson Kerwin Jones of Okinawa, Japan; her sister Sarah Horne (James) of Jacksonville, FL; and her nieces and nephews, Ellen D. Sanders (Bobby), Marva I. Cuthpert (Ronald) of Jacksonville, FL, F. Lanette Martin (Michael) of Panama City, FL, James Edward Horne (Carolyn) of Ormond Beach, FL, Clinton Wilcox of Pittsburgh, PA, James D. Wilcox (Lys) of Los Angeles, CA and Eric D. McCrae (Annette) of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by other relatives, friends and, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funerals (4315 N Main St, Jacksonville, FL 32206). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Northside Church of Christ (4736 Ave B, Jacksonville, FL 32209).
