She was predeceased by: her mother Lessie L.; her stepfather Walter Mechum; and her brothers, Frank Minchew, Preston Minchew and John Minchew.
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Denney; her children, Donald Denney II (Kelly) and LaTasha D. Pennybaker (Tad); her grandchildren, Hilary Crutcher (Stephen), Zachary Denney (Shelby), Jared Pennybaker (Amanda), Timothy Denney and Wyatt Pennybaker; her great grandchild Clara Elizabeth Crutcher; her sisters-in-law, Della Minchew and Lucretia Thomas; and her brothers, Richard Minchew (Bycie), Kenneth Minchew (Pam) and David Minchew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
